Hakusasonso

This villa was home and studio of the Japanese painter Hashimoto Kansetsu (1883-1945). He acquired the site for his villa at the foot of Mt Daimonji and spent the rest of his life here painting, designed its gardens and also collected several stone lanterns and Buddha's that can still be found here and there in the garden.
